摘  要
书籍设计是一种立体的思考行动。那种以绘画形式的封面和千篇一律的正文版式为基点的装帧只 一个外包装。书籍设计应包含：书籍形态策划、信息内容编织、视觉图文构成、纸张工艺的设定……从“皮肤”到“血肉”的三次元的有条理的体现，以往的观念割裂了外表与内在的呼吸关系。书籍中材料的运用往往是决定整个书籍给人信息表达的基本形态，制作书籍的材料为书籍的使用者提供了第一环境。犹如一道美味在不同的地理环境总是给人以不同的感受，千差万别的书籍制作材料，更是会赋予书籍不同凡响的效果。
本文从运用不同的书籍制作材料，而形成书籍的不同环境，给人以完全不一样的感觉，阐述了特殊材料运用在书籍设计中的不同效果及重要作用。一个好的环境犹如一本好书一样吸引读者。

Abstract：It is a kind of stereoscopic thinking action that the books are designed. That kind taking the front cover of the painting form and stereotyped text format as basic point only binds a external packing. The books are designed should include : Plan , information content weaving , visual picture and text forming , settlement of the paper craft in shape of the books ……From " skin " to reasonable embodiment of yuan three times of " flesh and blood ", the past idea isolates appearance and inherent breath relation. The application of the material often determine the basic shape that the whole books give somebody an information expression in the books, the material which is made the books has offered the first environment to user of the books. Like one is delicious it is to give somebody different feeling in different geographical environment, various books manufacturing materials, give books extraordinary or quite outstanding result even more.
This text from using different books manufacturing materialses, and form different environments of the books, give somebody the totally different feeling , has explained different results and important function that the special material uses in the books design. 引  言

书籍是人类进步的阶梯，是人类文明传承的重要工具，对书史的研究一向被认为是学科之间的学科，因为它涉及的领域是如此广泛，不但与文学史、而且与技术、经济、社会、政治、文化等学科的历史紧密联系。《书籍的历史》出自法国著名学者弗雷德里克•巴比耶之手，是关于书籍的演变的一个另类读本。
对于书籍装帧设计，每个设计师都会有自己的侧重点，和想法，有的注重色彩的使用，用抽象的图形和个性的色彩来表达书的内容，有的注重造型的完整来述说一本书的故事。从书籍装帧的完整意义上来说，完全可以说，没有书籍装帧就不可能有书籍，这甚至是精神离不开躯体一样，即使把书籍装帧狭限在美术范围内，没有书籍装帧，书籍也将流于简陋而缺乏美感，白纸白皮的形貌是不难想象的。但是，好的信息犹如美味一样，需要好的环境和好的盘子盛装才会给人以享受，书籍书籍装帧中材料的运用犹如好的环境，对于书籍的信息表达一样重要。
